STW - Scrum Team Workshop

Course target:
This training is targeted for all people involved in project realization e.g. developers, testers, project managers, team leaders and others that want to acquire practical knowledge about agile project management.

Participants acquire knowledge about agile and scrum principles. Participants acquire experience in main practices used in agile and scrum. Each participant understand and is able to drive project in agile way.

Participants prerequisites:
This course has a general purpose and does not expect from participants any specific knowledge regarding agile and scrum practices. Participants general knowledge about agile project management and personal experiences would be a value add during the course.

    Session 1 – Practical introduction to agile main concepts and scrum process.
    Introduction – introduction to game framework.
    Iteration 1 – introduction to relative estimation, planning, prioritizing and acceptance testing.
    Debriefing 1 – talk about relative estimation, stories dependencies, release planning, prioritizing and acceptance testing based on set of defined user stories.

    Theory 1 – talk about agile main concepts and scrum process.
    Session 2 – Practical introduction to scrum project planning and release planning.
    Iteration 2 – introduction to relative estimation, planning, prioritizing and acceptance testing.
    Debriefing 2 – talk about relative estimation, stories dependencies, release planning, prioritizing and acceptance testing based on set of defined user stories.
    Theory 2 – talk about agile release planning.

    Session 3 – Best practices and Q/A session.
    Iteration 3 – introduction to planning poker.
    Debriefing 3 – talk about relative estimation.
    Case study – real life example of agile and scrum introduction into organization.

    Session 4 – Retrospection and summary.
    Retrospective – introduction to this method of lesson learned technique and hands on workshop on that.
    Summary and Q/A session.
